Donna Ostrowsky
Donna Sara Ostrowsky was born on January 19, 1986 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
She spent her childhood in Arlington and Newton, Massachusetts. From a young age Donna was passionately creative. She wrote stories, movies, and plays, and would act out many of these with a cast of her friends and sometimes family. Donna’s creativity only increased as she grew. In high school she was part of an improv comedy troupe, wrote for the school newspaper, and continued with her independent projects of writing stories and screenplays.
Donna was graduated from Newton South High School in 2004, and went on to study at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. She majored in Dramatic Writing, with minors in Sociology and History. It was at NYU that she began her work as a development researcher. She continued this career at other non-profit organizations such as Pro Mujer and The Episcopal Church. She exceled at her job, developing innovative research methods that have been widely adopted in her field
In addition to her career as a development researcher, Donna found time for many creative endeavors.
She loved all manner of games including computer games, Dungeons & Dragons, and video games.
She was a published author, a producer, director, screenwriter, and boom mic operator.
