Rose Knapp

Rose Knapp (‡Starving Poet§) is an experimental poetess and sound artist. She is a transfemme androgyne.

Artistically self taught in both poetry and music, her philosophical background leading her to questioning, searching outside of, and transcending Metamodernist avant-garde poetic dialogues. She creates a fragmented, fractal, radiant poiesis evoking Neo-Dadaist, Surrealist, and Futurist, aesthetics.

Musically she creates sound statuettes, chaotic fusions of musique concrète, electronica, techno, sound poetry, and sound art.

She has LP's & EP's released with Aa3 Corp., D.M.T. Records, Always Human Tapes, Far East Sound, and others.

​She has publications in IceFloe, BlazeVOX, Fence, Maintenant, Hobart, Superstition Review & others. She has poetry collections published with Beir Bua Press, Hesterglock Press, and Dostoyevsky Wannabe.

She lives in Minneapolis.
